Report of the Inauguration and Digital Orientation of the IT Club
The IT Club of NSS Training College, Ottapalam, organized its Inauguration and Digital Orientation Programme on 18-08-2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the College Auditorium. The event was convened with the objective of introducing the aims and activities of the IT Club, and to familiarize students with digital tools and resources that can support both academic and professional development.
The programme commenced with a Welcome Address delivered by Ms. Vismaya, Secretary of the IT Club, who warmly greeted the dignitaries, faculty members, and students present.
The session was formally inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Smitha R, Principal-in-Charge, who, in her inaugural address, emphasized the importance of digital literacy and the need for students to adapt to emerging technologies in the contemporary academic and professional landscape.
Following the inauguration, a Digital Orientation Session was conducted by Dr. K. S. Sajan, Co-ordinator of the IT Club. He elaborated on the objectives of the club, outlined its proposed activities, and introduced participants to a variety of digital platforms and applications designed to enhance learning, creativity, and productivity. The session was highly informative and interactive, providing valuable insights to the students.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Nithya, IT Club Member, who expressed gratitude to the Principal, faculty members, organizing team, and participants for their support and encouragement in making the event a success.
