National Level Essay Competition

 This is in reference to the UGC’s earlier communications regarding the yearlong celebration of 70th Anniversary of Constitution Day starting from 26th November 2019. As a part of this celebration, Hon’ble Minister of HRD announced yearlong National Essay Competition on 26th of every month and the details of the same has been shared on the portal, i.e. .
               The 1st monthly National Essay Competition is scheduled to be held on 26thDecember,2019 and the deadline for registration is 10th December, 2019.
              Hence, you are kindly requested to inform the students to register for the competition on portal. The Institutions may take suitable  steps/actions to promote the competition like informing student heads of various clubs/societies, issuing notices and uploading information on respective institution’s website related to registration, deadline and prizes for essay competition. Further, the colleges may consider issuing a press release in respective state’s local newspaper to aware the students and institutions about the competition. The Details are given below:

AIDS Day Observance 2019

NSS Training College observed AIDS day. The program was presided by Kumari Nivya U. C and was inaugurated by College principal Dr Ampili Aravind. Archana shameema and Anu conveyed messages on AIDS awareness, precautions to be taken, and the needs and ways of conscientising public. Teacher educators and student teachers NSS Training College Ottapalam took oath in regard to the AIDS day observanceDocumentary on AIDS awareness was exhibited. Red ribbon club coordinator Smt. Lekshmi V rendered the vote of thanks.
