National Science Day Observance - 28 February 2023

 

On the behalf of National Science Day 2023 conducted in NSS Training college Ottapalam, the science club conducted a quiz program. 1st place goes to the social science team (Omana and Priya). 2 nd prize is shared between physical science (Jumailth and Sanjay Krishna) and mathematics ( Megha and Karthika)

Jalaraksha Jeevaraksha

 Water conservation project was organized in NSSKPT VHSS by Blue Army Club. Five students from each class were given training as part of the project in a host of areas such as water auditing, conservation schemes, environmental protection programme, water testing and adherence to green protocol.

ഒറ്റപ്പാലം എന്‍.എസ്.എസ് കോളേജ്, മലയാള വിഭാഗവും മലയാള ഐക്യവേദി പാലക്കാട് ജില്ലാ സമിതിയും ചേര്‍ന്ന് നടത്തിയ മാതൃഭാഷാ ദിനാചരണത്തില്‍ മലയാള ഐക്യവേദി പാലക്കാട് ജില്ലാ ജോയിന്‍റ് സെക്രട്ടറിയും വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥി മലയാളവേദി സംസ്ഥാന ജോയിന്‍റ് കണ്‍വീനറും ഒറ്റപ്പാലം എൻ. എസ്. എസ്. ട്രെയിനിംഗ് കോളേജിലെ രണ്ടാം വർഷ ബി. എഡ് വിദ്യാർത്ഥിയായ പി.ശ്രുതി " വിജ്ഞാന സമൂഹനിർമ്മിതി മാതൃഭാഷയിൽ " എന്ന വിഷയത്തിൽ പ്രഭാഷണം നടത്തി. വകുപ്പധ്യക്ഷ ഡോ. കെ ബി സുമിത സ്വാഗതം പറഞ്ഞു . മലയാള വിഭാഗം അധ്യാപിക ഡോ. ഇ. എം സുരജ, വിദ്യാർത്ഥി മലയാളവേദി പ്രതിനിധി അതുല്യ എന്നിവർ ആശംസകൾ അറിയിച്ചു.

ഒറ്റപ്പാലം എൻ.എസ്. ട്രെയിനിംഗ് കോളേജ് യൂണിയൻ്റെ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തിൽ നടത്തിയ മാതൃഭാഷാ ദിനാചരണത്തിൻ്റെ ഉത്ഘാടനം ഭാഷയ്ക്ക് ഒരു ഒപ്പ് പരിപാടിയോടെ കോളേജ്പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ പ്രൊഫ. ഡോ. അമ്പിളി അരവിന്ദ് നിർവഹിച്ചു. ദിനാചരണത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി അദ്ധ്യാപകവിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ അക്ഷരമരം നിർമിച്ചു. തുടർന്ന്എഴുത്ത് മത്സരം സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു

Lesson plan Writing: Peer Discussion

 The peer discussion lesson plan writing will be conducted from 20/02/2023 to 10/03/2023 as per the academic calendar. 

Education theatre:Demonstration class on Art Education

A demonstration class on art education for students of NSSKPT VHSS was conducted on February 9,2023. The students enthusiastically participated in 'Aadam paadam arinju padikkam'.  Students of the school who participated in the session commented that it was a new and different experience for them.

 

EXHIBITION ON TEACHING AIDS

Ottapalam : N S S Training College , Ottapalam conducted an exhibition of teaching aids on 08-02-2023 at 2:00pm. The students from different optional subjects displayed their creative teaching aids in their respective classes. The students and teachers of N.S.S.K.P.T.V.H.S.S Ottapalam were invited to visit the exhibition. The fourth semester B Ed trainees guided the UP and High School students of the school to see the exhibition.

Good touch bad touch and personal hygiene

 The Women Development Cell of the institution conducted a session on awareness on good touch bad touch and personal hygiene for students of NSSKPT VHSS.

Dr. Seema Menon K. P appointed as External examiner for PhD viva voce examination

Dr. Seema Menon K. P, Associate Professor of this college was appointed as external examiner for the PhD viva voce examination of Bharathiar University, Coimbatore on 7/02/2023. The candidate was Mary Kanaga Saratha D who pursued her research work under the guidance of Dr. Vizhimaran. A , Assistant Professor, Government college of Education, Thanjavur. The candidate was successfully recommended for the award of Doctor of Philosophy in Education after the viva voce examination.
