PRESS CLUB MEET

*Press club meet*

Today a press club meet was held at Ottapalam, to announce the inauguration of RUSA 2 funded 6 classrooms  of the college. The inauguration will be performed by  Dr. R. Bindu, Honorable Minister of Higher education and social justice on 29/04/2022 at 10:00 am.

Dr. Ampili Aravind, Principal of the college explained about the program to press club members.

Dr. Sunilkumar A. S., College RUSA cordinator,  clarified their queries and doubts.Dr. Minikumari D. and Dr. Seema Menon K.P., RUSA (BOG) members of the college, also participated in the pressclub meet.

BLOOD STEM CELL DONOUR

Amritha C (1st B Ed English)of NSS TRAINING College OTTAPALAM, donated her Blood Stem Cells( Bone Marrow) on January 8 2021. She was a unique match for a one year old diagnosed with Thalassemia major. The donation took place in Amrita hosptital, Kochi. Amritha is the first female stem cell donor from Palakkad district. She was able to gift a life and is currently waiting for a meetup with her recipient.

World Earth Day @April 22.

Haritha Nature club of N. S. S training college Ottapalam has conducted  World  Earth Day observance on 22 April 2022 in the campus. The theme of Earth day 2022 is " Invest in our Planet ". Earth Day is observed in each year to create awareness about protecting our earth and its environment since 1970. It was first observed in the United States, when some 20 million people took to the streets to protest against the 1969 Santa barbara oil spill. From there, actions to preserve nature and to recognize the hazards of environmental pollution are started and continues till now.
