Nila cleaning done on 24-11-2023 on behalf of Blue Army Club & NSS Unit 301


Ottapalam NSS Training College National Service Unit and Blue Army Club joined forces to clean up Bharathapuzha as a part of water conservation activities. NSS College Retd. Prof. R. Govindankutty Kartha inaugurated the session .  Principal Dr. Ampili Aravind presided. Dr. KS Sajan, Dr. A.S. Sunilkumar, Sri Suresh Kumar, Dr. Sheeba Krishnan and Vishnu spoke. Prices were distributed to Flash mob competition winners.

Today the thought for the day program was conducted by Mathematics Optional Students related to the Water Conservation and the theme was ' Every drop of water counts ' at 9.30 Am in the seminar hall and a flash mob competition is scheduled to be organised by Blue Army Club and College IQAC at 2.50 pm @ open auditorium

REPORT ON 1 DAY DATA ANALYSIS WORKSHOP FOR M ED & RESEARCH SCHOLARS 

As part of the Research thesis preparation,  One Day Workshop on Data Analysis was conducted on 20/11/2013 - Monday at the College IT Lab for the Final Year M Ed students and Research Scholars of the Institution.  The Workshop was hosted by Dr. K. S. Sajan (Assistant Professor, NSS Training College Ottapalam ) The Workshop began at 10 AM, and the first session was all about the different strategies, and demonstrations- of various data analysis techniques for Quantitative Research studies, and Experimental Research studies.  The session after lunch was about the data analysis techniques for the Quantitative Research Studies. The workshop was an eye opening session for the students and research scholars on the theme of Data Analysis, they got to know about various AI tools like Perplexity, BARD, UNRIDDLE, ELICIT etc. Dr. Sajan demonstrated the session engagingly for the students, his excellent elocution skill made the workshop interesting to them.

Report on M Ed Students' One-Week Computer Training Course

NSS Training College, Ottapalam, hosted a dynamic one-week course for M Ed students, focusing on enhancing their computer and internet skills. The daily curriculum included diverse topics to provide a comprehensive learning experience.Dr K S Sajan faculty of the college acted as resource person of the workshop.


**Day 1: Foundations of Computer Skills**
Participants acquired essential skills such as document writing, sound editing, and proficiency in modern tools, laying the groundwork for the week ahead.
**Day 2: Presentation and Multimedia Mastery**
The second day concentrated on honing presentation and video-making skills, empowering students to effectively communicate ideas through multimedia platforms.

**Day 3: Website Creation Workshop**
A dedicated day was allocated to teaching the art of website creation, ensuring students gained practical knowledge in designing and developing their web presence.

**Day 4: Moodle and Google Apps Integration**
Participants delved into the world of virtual learning using Moodle and explored the functionalities of Google Apps for collaborative and efficient educational practices.
**Day 5: E-Certificate Design and YouTube Utilization**
The penultimate day focused on the creation of electronic certificates and utilizing YouTube for educational purposes, equipping students with valuable digital skills.


Each day concluded with practical exercises where students applied their newly acquired knowledge, fostering a hands-on learning environment. The culmination of the week resembled a vibrant computer camp, where the participants showcased their achievements and celebrated their collective journey into the realm of digital proficiency. The event proved to be an engaging and enriching experience for M Ed students at NSS Training College, Ottapalam.
