NSS Training College, Ottapalam, conducted a Free Eye Testing Camp on 29 September 2026 at the General Hall. The programme was organized by the Medical Inspection Committee and Health Club in collaboration with NSS Unit No. 301 and Ottapalam Eye Care Hospital. The camp was organized for the benefit of students, teachers and non-teaching staff of the college.
The camp commenced at 9:30 a.m. and included free eye testing by the medical team. The programme began with a welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Suresh Kumar K, Principal-in-Charge. The programme was coordinated by the Medical Inspection Committee—Prof. (Dr.) Sunil Kumar A S, Dr. Anu S and Mr. Krishnaprasad K P, along with Dr. M. P. Ravishankar, NSS Programme Officer, and Student Coordinators Amritha K P and Chandrika G.
The camp concluded at 12:45 p.m. with the active participation and coordinated efforts of teachers, students and NSS Unit volunteers. The programme was successfully conducted, providing an important opportunity for the college community to receive basic eye care and screening services.
