Open Defence and Public Viva Voce of Ms. Sukanya K. U.
The Open Defence and Public Viva Voce Examination of Ms. Sukannya K. U. on the topic “Development and Validation of a Localised Sustainable Development Goals Framework for Quality Education and Evaluating Its Effect on Students from Tribal Communities in Attappadi” was conducted on 19 May 2026 at NSS Training College, Ottapalam. The study was carried out under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Seema Menon K. P. and the session was chaired by Prof. G. R. Angadi. Dr. Suresh Kumar, Principal, attended the programme and extended his support to the scholar. The proceedings began at 10.30 a.m. with a prayer and Acharya Vandanam. In her presentation, the scholar discussed the educational challenges faced by tribal students, the process of constructing a localized SDG framework, its validation procedures, and its impact on quality education in the Attappadi region. The presentation generated considerable academic interest, particularly regarding educational equity, sustainable development, and culturally responsive educational practices. The programme ended with the National Anthem at 1.00 p.m.
