Solar Eclipse on 26th December 2019.
Once again Kerala witnessed one of grand celestial events on 26th December 2019, the Solar eclipse. It began at 8 am and lasted up to 11.30am.Solar eclipse was prominently visible in the southern parts of Kerala and led to the formation of 'ring of fire' in the sky. This is actually an annular solar eclipse in which the moon will not be able to completly cover the Sun and leads to the ring of fire phenomenon. Most of the people in Kerala eagerly observed the eclipse .This is the photograph showing the shadows formed in the yard of a home at Ambalapara near to ottapalam during the eclipse.
