Examination Orientation Class for 10th standard Students and their parents

As part of the extension activities of NSS faculties, Smt. Suprabha.K, Guest faculty have taken a motivational class for 10th standard students and their parents at NSSHS Vengasserry on 30/11/2019.

 

The class was to face the challenges in public exams on the topic of how to get rid of exam anxiety and how to make children well prepared for their exams, which was an awareness experience to both the parents and students.

CTE KERALA MEETING

In connection  with the proposed international seminar in our college a meeting of CTE was conducted at our college  at 11 am today.

Planning meeting held on 30 November 2019 to discuss about the organization of International Seminar in connection with the XVIII Annual Convention of Council for Teacher Education Foundation, (CTEF) scheduled for Feb 27, 28 and 29, 2020 at NSS Training College, Ottapalam.

Dr. M S. Geetha (Vice -president, CTEF Kerala) presided over the meeting convened by Dr. Ampili Aravind, Principal, NSS Training College Ottapalam, and  Dr. Anil Kumar (coordinator of the Seminar).

Other CTEF officials who participated in the meeting included Dr. V. M. Sasi kumar (National Vice-president, CTEF), Dr. T.K. Mathew (Vice-president CTEF, Kerala), Dr. Rajeswari K. (General Secretary, CTEF, Kerala), Dr. Sam V. Daniel, (Secretary, CTEF, Kerala) and Dr. Pramod Dinakar (Treasurer, CTEF, Kerala)

Faculty members of NSS Training college, Ottapalam  were also present.

Lesson Planning through Peer Discussion

 The peer discussion lesson plan writing will be conducted on first week of December 2019 as per the academic calendar.

As part of B. Ed curriculum, a four day Community Living Camp 'Unarvu'was conducted at NSS Training College, Ottapalam from November 26 to 29 based on the theme 'Onnayaal Nannayi'. Camp Co.ordinator Mr Akhil K Sreedhar delivered welcome speech followed by presidential address of principal, Dr Ampili Aravind. Sri.M Sujith, Circle Inspector, Ottapalam inaugurated the Camp. Dr Jayaprakash R K,Dr Devika R, Dr Sethu S Nath, Sri V Muralidharan,Sri Sureshkumar K and Smt. Sherinmol KS offered felicitations .Dr KP Anilkumar expressed vote of thanks. Sri K B Rajananth, Sri  Gafoor Master, Kalamandalam Vidya Rani, Smt. Maya K, Dr SankaraNarayanan Paleri, Sri P V Saithalavi Gurukkal,Sri Sreekumar S Nair, Dr K U Haridas, Sri.Janardanan Puthussery were the Chief Resource Persons. In addition to the interactive sessions, Camp  activities  also included Arts Fiesta, Sathamohanam, Kalari Demonstration, Minor Games,Camp fire, Yoga Sessions and Save Nila Campaign .

The Positive comments put forward during Camp reflection session   by camp members showed the successful completion of the Camp. The valedictory function was inaugurated by Sri Narayanan Namboothiri, Chairman, Ottapalam Municipality .Dr Sankaranarayan Paleri offered welcome speech.The function was presided over by Principal, Dr Ampili Aravind followed by felicitation by Dr Suresh Kumar K. Camp Co.ordinator Mr Akhil K Sreedhar delivered vote of thanks.
