Awareness class on Palliative Care – 2018
(Organised by Palliative Care Unit and Red Ribbon Club)
An awareness class on Palliative Care was conducted in our college on 12-02-2018. Mr. Mujeeb Rahman , Palliative care volunteer, Ottapalam handled the first session. In the second session, Smt Santhakumari, Retd Headmistress, Munnurkode H.S & Palliative care volunteer shared her valuable experience in the field with cancer, paraplegia patients. 6 senior volunteers from ottapalm palliative care unit participated in the class and added their experience too .Session ended with a few words from Dr.Seema Menon K. P, College Palliative care unit & red Ribbon Club coordinator.student representative,Ms Revathy welcomed the gathering and Ms. Rajeswari rendered the vote of thanks. All the B.Ed and M.Ed students of our college attended the programme.
