Palliative club & College NSS  unit volunteers who received palliative volunteer training joined for a home care visit from 9 am to 4 pm today ( 14/01/2023) collaborating with ottapalam Palliative clinic & charitable society. Sreema ( Malayalam option ) & Thulasi ( English option ) participated in it.

National Youth Day Observance 

(Swami Vivekananda Jayanti) January 12th, Thursday, 2023

January 12th is being celebrated as National Youth Day in India. It is the birth day of Swami Vivekananda. The National Youth Day, 2023 was celebrated in our college with variety of programmes on 12-01-2023.

The programme  commenced at 9.30 am in the college auditorium. Ms. Seethal, MEd Ist year student welcomed the gathering. Principal,Prof.(Dr.)AmpiliAravind inaugurated the program.Ms. Anupama V.M & Ms. Swaliha ( M Ed 1st year students )  presented papers on the life and contributions of Swami Vivekananda. The speech mainly focused on the personal life, spiritual contributions, educational contributions and philosophy of Swami Vivekananda. It also depicted the essentiality of celebrating the National Youth Day in our country by commemorating the contributions of Swami Vivekananda. 

Dr. Sankaranarayanan Paleeri, Head, Dept of Social Science Education offered key note address.The day  was also observed with a Quiz Competition on the life and contributions of Swami Vivekananda.

Ms. Poornima,  M Ed I year student delivered vote of thanks.It was a sumptuous academic and emotional experience to the participants.

ഒറ്റപ്പാലം എൻഎസ്എസ് ട്രെയിനിങ് കോളേജിലെ ബേർഡ്സ് ക്ലബ് ഇൻറർനാഷണലിന്റെ 'ബർത്ത് ഡേ പ്ലാൻറ് പ്രോഗ്രാം '.

ജനുവരി 5 ദേശീയ പക്ഷി ദിനത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ച്  അന്നേദിവസം   ഒറ്റപ്പാലം എൻഎസ്എസ് ട്രെയിനിങ് കോളേജിലെ ബേർഡ്സ് ക്ലബ് ഇൻറർനാഷണൽ ബർത്ത് ഡേ പ്ലാൻറ് പ്രോഗ്രാം എന്ന നവീനമായ ആശയത്തിന്  തുടക്കം കുറിച്ചു. ക്ലബ്ബിൻറെ സ്റ്റാഫ് കോഡിനേറ്റർ ഡോക്ടർ അനു എസ് പരിപാടിയിലേക്ക് ഏവരെയും സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്തു. പരിപാടിയുടെ ഔദ്യോഗികമായ ഉദ്ഘാടനം കോളേജ് പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ ഡോക്ടർ അമ്പിളി അരവിന്ദ് നിർവഹിച്ചു. ഈ വാരം പിറന്നാൾ ആഘോഷിക്കുന്ന ദേവിക, രേഷ്മ, സ്നേഹ എന്നീ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് ആശംസകൾ നേരുകയും അവർക്ക് ഫലവൃക്ഷത്തൈകൾ വിതരണം ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്തു. ഐ ക്യു എ സി കോഡിനേറ്റർ ഡോക്ടർ കെ എസ് സാജനും എൻഎസ്എസ് വളണ്ടിയർ അരവിന്ദ് മേനോനും പരിപാടിക്ക് ആശംസകൾ അർപ്പിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് സംസാരിച്ചു. നന്ദി പ്രകാശനത്തോടും ശേഷം ദേശീയഗാനത്തോടും കൂടി ഔദ്യോഗിക പരിപാടിക്ക് സമാപനം കുറിച്ചു.

ഇതേത്തുടർന്ന് ബേർഡ്സ് ക്ലബ് ഇൻറർനാഷണൽ സ്റ്റാഫ് കോഡിനേറ്ററിന്റെയും എൻഎസ്എസ് കോഡിനേറ്ററിന്റെയും സാന്നിധ്യത്തിൽ കോളേജ് ക്യാമ്പസിലെ ഒഴിഞ്ഞു കിടക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലത്ത്  വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ തങ്ങൾക്കു ലഭിച്ച ഫല വൃക്ഷത്തൈകൾ നട്ടു പിടിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.                                                       ബർത്ത് ഡേ പ്ലാൻറ് പ്രോഗ്രാമിന് ഫലവൃക്ഷത്തൈകൾ കൈപ്പറ്റിയ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളുടെ വിവരങ്ങൾ .

Bow making workshop organized by Entrepreneurship Development Cell

 

A workshop on ‘Bow making’ was organized by Entrepreneurship Development Cell in Collaboration with NSS unit of the college on 19 Dec 2022. The program was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Ampili Aravind. Ms. Athira S. of 1st year B.Ed. Malayalam, a budding entrepreneur, demonstrated the art of bow making in a lucid manner. She explained in detail the various steps involved in bow making and the diverse ways of using it. The participants made bows on their own and displayed them. Dr. Mridula K. coordinated the programme.
