Data Analysis Workshop

Data analysis workshop was conducted for the M.Ed students of 2021-2023 batch on 8/11/2022.The workshop was conducted in offline mode by Dr K S Sajan, Faculty of NSS Training College Ottapalam . In this workshop the statistical techniques for performing Item Analysis, calculation of reliability coefficient, percentage analysis,t test and ANOVA were addressed. All students actively participated in the workshop.

താക്കൾക്കുള്ള അനുമോദന ചടങ്ങ് 11.07.2022 ന് കേളേജ് ആഡിറ്റോറിയത്തിൽ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. സ്റ്റാഫ് അൈഡ്വസർ   ഡോ ലക്ഷ്മി വി സ്വാഗതം ആശംസിച്ചു. കോളേജ് പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ പ്രൊഫ  ഡോ അമ്പിളി അരവിന്ദ് ജേതാക്കളെ അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു. വിദ്യാർഥികൾ അനുഭവം പങ്കുവച്ചു.

 

Alumni General Body Meeting & Election of Executive Committee Members

General body of the Alumni was conducted in the college on 5/11/2022,Saturday at 2 pm. Executive committee members were elected in the meeting. Mr. Sajeesh T. K was selected as the working President and Dr. Rashmi Ramachadran as Joint Secretary. Six executive committee members were also elected.  

Eye Testing Camp

An 'Eye Testing Camp' was organized in college on Friday, November 04, 2022. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Seema Menon K P, Associate Professor. The vision and power of the eye of students, teachers, and non-teaching staff were tested. Students who need further checkups were given special cards and those who need to wear spectacles were given the needed details. The program was organized by the Medical Inspection Committee and Health Club of our college in association with Zains Eye Hospital, Cherpulasery.

 

Healing through History

 As a part of Kerala Piravi, a session was organized on the importance of history of Kerala and culture at NSSKPTVHSS. The resource person for the session was Ms. Anjana KV from second year B.Ed. A quiz program was also organized by the student teachers of Social Science Optional class. The winners were given prizes.

 

Alumni General body meeting & Election of new executive committee members

College Alumni General body meeting & election of new executive committee members will be held on 5 November, 2022 at 2 pm in the General Hall of the college. All alumni members are invited to join.

 

കേരളപ്പിറവി ദിനാഘോഷത്തിന്റെ ഔപചാരികമായ ഉദ്ഘാടനം പ്രശസ്ത സാഹിത്യകാരിയും ഒറ്റപ്പാലം എൻ.എസ്.എസ്. കോളേജിലെ മലയാളം വിഭാഗം അദ്ധ്യാപികയുമായ എം സുരജ നിർവഹിച്ചു. ഒറ്റപ്പാലം എൻ.എസ്.എസ്. ട്രെയിനിംഗ് കോളേജ് പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ പ്രൊഫ. ഡോ. അമ്പിളി അരവിന്ദിൻ്റെ അധ്യക്ഷതയിൽ ചേർന്ന യോഗത്തിന് കുമാരി മൃദുല പി എം സ്വാഗതം പറഞ്ഞു. സ്റ്റാഫ് സെക്രട്ടറി ഡോ മിനികുമാരി ഡി, സ്റ്റാഫ് അഡ്‌വൈസർ ഡോ ലക്ഷ്മി വി, ഡോ ശ്രീവിദ്യ നായർ എൻ, ശ്രീ സുരേഷ് കുമാർ കെ എന്നിവർ ആശംസകൾ നേർന്നു. കുമാരി ഐശ്വര്യ എം കൃതജ്ഞത അർപ്പിച്ചു. തുടർന്ന് വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ കഥകളി, തിരുവാതിര, ഒപ്പന, മാർഗം കളി, വഞ്ചിപ്പാട്ട്, സംഘനൃത്തം, സംഘഗാനം എന്നീ കലാപരിപാടികൾ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു. മലയാള ഭാഷാ വാരാചരണത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി കഥാരചന , കവിതാ രചന, ഉപന്യാസരചന, ചിത്രരചന മത്സരങ്ങൾ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു.

Human Chain against Drug Abuse

കേരളാ ഗവണ്മെന്റ് ഉന്നത വിദ്യഭ്യാസ വകുപ്പിന്റെ നിർദേശമനുസരിച്ചുള്ള ബോധപൂർണ്ണിമ പരിപാടികളുടെ ഭാഗമായി "ലഹരിക്കെതിരെ മനുഷ്യച്ചങ്ങലയും" അനുബന്ധ പരിപാടികളും ഇന്ന് (01-11-2022) നടത്തുകയുണ്ടായി.

ലഹരിക്കെതിരെയുള്ള ആഹ്വാനവുമായി നടത്തിയ മനുഷ്യ ചങ്ങലയിൽ മുഴുവൻ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളും അധ്യാപകരും ഓഫീസ് ജീവനക്കാരും പങ്കെടുത്തു. 01-11-2022 കാലത്ത് 11 മണിമുതൽ 11.05 വരെയാണ് എല്ലാവരും ചങ്ങലയിൽ അണിചേർന്നത്. കോളേജ് പ്രിൻസിപ്പാൾ പ്രഫസർ അമ്പിളി അരവിന്ദ് ചങ്ങലയിൽ ആദ്യ കണ്ണിയായി. തുടർന്ന് അധ്യാപകരും വിദ്യാത്ഥികളും ചങ്ങലയിൽ ചേർന്നു. അനുബന്ധമായി നടത്തിയ ലഹരി വിരുദ്ധ പ്രതിജ്ഞ പ്രിൻസിപ്പാൾ വായിക്കുകയും എല്ലാവരും ഏറ്റു ചൊല്ലുകയും ചെയ്തു.

തുടർന്ന് "ലഹരി ഭൂതത്തെ" പ്രതീകാത്മകമായി കത്തിക്കുകയും കുഴിച്ചുമൂടുകയും ചെയ്തു.

വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളിലും കോളേജ് പരിസരത്തെ പൊതു ജനങ്ങളിലും അവബോധം സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നതിനും അവരെ ലഹരി വിരുദ്ധ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളിൽ പങ്കാളികളാവുന്നതിന്ന് പ്രചോദിപ്പിക്കുവാനും ഈ ബോധവൽക്കരണ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ സഹായകരമായി.

(Second year B.Ed) secured State Level First in Story Writing Competition held in connection with Bodhapoornima Campaign against Drug Abuse.   She has been invited to receive the prize from Honourable minister at University college Thiruvananthapuram on 01/11/2022. Hearty congratulations.

           

എൻ.എസ്.എസ് പതാകാദിനം

എൻ. എസ്. എസ്. പതാകാദിനം, 31.10.2022 ന് സമുചിതമായി ആചരിച്ചു. കേളേജ് പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ പ്രൊഫ. ( ഡോ.) അമ്പിളി അരവിന്ദ് പതാക ഉയർത്തി. എല്ലാ അദ്ധ്യാപകരും അനദ്ധ്യാപകരും ചടങ്ങിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തു. പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ ചൊല്ലിക്കൊടുത്ത പ്രതിജ്ഞ എല്ലാവരും ഏറ്റ് ചൊല്ലി.

                  TALENTS DAY

N.S.S. Training College, Ottapalam, which steps into its 62^nd year ,  always strives to nurture the inherent potential that each and every student has. With the same spirit, this year also the college has given opportunity for the 2022-2024 batch students to showcase their talents. It surely was a great accomplishment for the college as it could motivate the students of diverse talents and varied backgrounds with one thing in common- a passion to perform without inhibition. 

                   The ‘Talents Day’ organized by the college was spread out over two days from 20^th October to 21^st October 2022 and was held at the college auditorium. The gathering was welcomed by Dr. Aswathy K.S, coordinator of the program. The mesmerizing program was inaugurated by the college principal Dr. Ampili Aravind, who has always been a true motivator of students who believes in her responsibility of being an impetus to develop the talents the students have been blessed with. In her inaugural speech, she spoke about the need of such programs to nurture the intrinsic qualities of students and remove the fear of stage among students which help in personality development too.

                  Students exhibited their talent in various activities. They sang songs in different languages and genres, some danced, some spoke on various topics, and some of them told stories. Mono act, classical dance, kathaprasangam, craft making, recitation, theme-based show and demonstration of sport games were also the part of the talents day program.

                                In this program, it was realized that our students have an ocean of hidden talent in them and every item shown by the students ended up being exceptionally fascinating to the audience. The stage came alive when the students exhibited spectacular performances and they were full of confidence and enthusiasm after each performance. All the participants took the audience into their spell through their truly creative and enchanting acts. No doubt, this program was an incredible moment for all of us and we shared it in full measure. We believe that this will motivate our students to come up front and show their hidden potential in their whole life. The program came to a close with vote of thanks by Dr. Anjana B Nair, coordinator, followed by National Anthem.
