Five Days National Webinar on ' Revisiting Research Paradigms'

N.S.S. Training College, Ottapalam organised Five Days National Webinar on 'Revising Research Paradigms' from 27th July 2020 to 31st July 2020. Dr. Ampili Aravind inaugurated the webinar on 27th July 2020. Webinar covered introduction to research, Review of related literature, Quantitative research, Qualtative research and Mixed Method Research. Dr. Biju K, Assistant Professor, Department of Education, Central University of Tamilnadu; Dr. K.S Sajan, Assistant Professor, NSS Training College, Ottapalam; Dr. Sameer Babu M, Assistant Professor, Department of Education, University of Kerala; Dr. Sankaranarayanan Paleeri, Assistant Professor, NSS Training College, Ottapaalam and Dr.Minikumari D, Assistant Professor, NSS Training College, Ottapalam were acted as the resource persons.

Interview for the post of Research Assistant for the Minor Research Project funded by ICSSR (Principal Investigator - Dr. Seema Menon K. P.)

An Interview was conducted on 27/July/2020, for the post of Research Assistant for the minor Research Project entitled “Education of tribal students of Attappadi – a study with special reference to school facilities and its utilisation”, sanctioned by ICSSR, New Delhi.

The interview was held in the Principal’s chamber at 10:00 a.m. The following members were included in the interview panel (expert committee members):

1. Dr. Ampili Aravind, (Principal & Head of Department),  NSS Training College, Ottapalam.

2. Dr. Seema Menon K.P., (Principal Investigator), Assistant Professor, NSS Training College, Ottapalam.

3. Dr. Deepa Varghese, (External subject  Expert), Associate Professor, GVM’s Dr. Dada Vaidya College of Education, Farmagudi, Goa.

4. Dr. Sankaranarayanan Paleeri, (Expert, Nominee of Principal), Assistant Professor, NSS Training College, Ottapalam.

The principal and staff of the institution felicitated Dr Devika R, who is transferred to NSS Training College changanacherry, Smt. Anju Krishna ,who is transferred to NSS Training College pandalam and Dr. Jayaprakash R.K who is appointed as associate professor in School of Pedagogical Sciences Kannur University. 

Observed International mangrove day and took Jalasakthy Pledge on 23-07-2020

The blue army club in collaboration with EBSB Club and college IQAC observed International mangrove day and took Jalasakthy Pledge on 23-07-2020 at NSS Training College, Ottapalam at 10 am.Dr SheebaKrishnan,Blue army club coordinator offered welcome speech.. Principal Dr Ampili Aravind presided over the session and took oath.All teaching/non_teaching staff and M.Ed as well as B.Ed student teachers participated.NS student Mrs Shabnom  presented a video showing the conservation of water and mangroves -need of the hour.A national level e- quiz was conducted by NS students and College IQAC.Vineesha offered Vote of thanks.

One day National level workshop on Open source data analysis software and Graphical representation of Data

    

A one day National level workshop on Open source data analysis software and Graphical representation of Data was conducted in our college on 4th July 2020 in collaboration with IT Club of the college and organised by IQAC. THe workshop was co ordinated and by Dr K S Sajan and he acted as the resource person through out the workshop. More than 900 participants were registered in the workshop and more than 400 particiapnts successfully completed and submit their assignments/products of the workshop and got certified.
