Teacher's Day celebrations

Teacher's day was celebrated on 5th September 2019.Vismaya K.T from Natural science optional welcomed the gathering to the function.Dr.Ampili Aravind, Principal of the college presided over the function and delivered Teacher's day message. Digital magazine which contains writeups of teachers, students and non -teaching staffs on their school experiences and the favourite teacher or the person who influenced them most was released by Smt.Lakshmi V. Assistant professor of the college.  Doctor Devika R, staff secretary and Dr. Se tu S Nath ,staff advisor of the  college falicitated the function.Followed by variety entertainment of student teachers  were staged. Vote of thanks for the function was delivered by Ms. Vrinda from Malayalam optional.

AJourney to Mars Boarding Passes to Mars of All Staff and Students

An awareness program on Mars mission 2020 was conducted by NSS Training College Ottapalam on 20 September 2019.  The program was conducted by IT club in collaboration with science club in the college auditorium. Dr  K S Sajan coordinator deliver the welcome speech. Navaneethakrishnan the college union chairman presided the function. As a part of 'send your name to Mars program' conducted by NASA all students faculties and non teaching staff of the college registered their names in the program.  The official uploading of the boarding pass to college website was inaugurated by Dr Ampili  Arvind Principal NSS Training College Ottapalam. This was followed by the release of the boarding pass by students and staff of the college. Vismaya KT IT Club member presented a talk on Mars mission 2020. Mars 2020 is a part of Mars exploration program with predictable launch on 17th July 2020 to explore the possibilities of life on Mars and to study the climatic conditions on the red planet.  The 'send your name to Mars program' aims at sending the names of registered participants all over the world with the help of a microchip in the rover of the mission. The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr Sheeba Krishnan science club coordinator.

A visit to KALAMANDALAM

         The B.Ed trainees of this college (2019-2021 batch) visited Kerala Kalamandalam as a part of this curriculum. Students reached there at 10 am. The trip was coordinated by Smt. Anju Kridhna.K.S and Dr. Bhagyalakshmy.R  faculties of this college.

Students got a very good opportunity to understand various classical art forms of Kerala. Most distinguished  Registrar of the Kalamandalam Dr Jayaprakash.R.K delivers the history of the foundation of Kerala Kalamandalam which was one of the greatest ideas of our most respectful Mahakavi late Vallathol Narayana Menon. He also leads us to various Kalaries such as Maddalam, Thullal, Kathakali, Panchavadyam etc. All the trainees and staffs of this college such as Dr.K.P Anil Kumar, Shri. Akhil. K.Sreedhar( Asst. Profs.) and Santhosh.V.Panikker( office staff) also helped us a lot to make the trip a grand success through their presence with us to Kalamandalam.
