Republic Day Celebrations

Republic Day Celebration Jan. 26, 2016
Republic day has celebrated with various programmes in college. The flag hoested by senior member of the teaching faculty Dr. Ambily Aravind. The republic parade was addressed by Dr. Ambily Aravind, Smt. Suma (MEd student) Sri. Manu S Nair (BEd student). The republic day was suptous with the patriotic songs, presentation on Indian constitution and Quiz competetion for BEd students. The students represnted physical science won first prize and social science won second prize in the quiz competetion. The session was handled by M Ed students

Palliative Day Observance and Awareness seminar was conducted on 19-01-2016. Principal of our college, Dr. Lakshmi K Nair inaugurated the seminar. co-ordinator of the Palliative cell,Assistant Professor, Dr. Seema Menon K P presided the function. Mr. Seetharaman, (Volunteer,Palliative care Ottapalam, Retd Manager, SBI, Ottapalam) and Mr. Sivaramakrishnan, (Volunteer, Palliative care, Retd. Electrical Engineer, Merchant navy) handled the classes. students could gain knowledge about Palliative care, its motto and also about the various services rendered by them. students voluntarily, made donations for the Palliative care.  Smt Seena welcomed the gathering and Smt Greeshma delivered vote of thanks

Invited Talk and Debate on “Kerala Model Economy”

                Social Science Association conducted a session that included invited talk and debate on “Kerala Model Economy” 16 – 12 – 2015. The session included inaugural address, a talk on the topic, opening address of the debate and the debate.
            The session was welcomed by Sri. Rigesh, Secretary, Social Association (2014-15) and inaugurated by Principal Dr. Laxmi K Nair. She spoke for a short time focusing on the relation of economy and education and its special features in Kerala. Key note address on the topic was delivered by Dr. Pradeep K, Assistant Professor, Dept of Economics, Kerala Varma College, Thrissur.  His talk was very interesting and effective and informative on the various scopes and issues of Kerala economy
