JeevaKarunya Scholarship distribution

Jeeva Karunya trust is an organisation under the leadership of Mr Joseph Chandy.The organisation distribute the scholarships for poor students and families every year  Our college associate with this trust to identify eligible school students and families to have the scholarship . This year also college take initiation to identify poor students from Palakkad Districts and the program for distribution is organised today.

Teaching Practice Begins

The teaching practice of 2014-2015 Batch B Ed will begin tomorrow . Students are advised by pincipal tday in morning as an orientation for teaching practice. Al students will go for the school based practical tomorrow to different schools of Palakkad and Trichur districts

Professionalizing English Education

Professionalizing English Education 

Inauguration of the Association of English Department and a lecture on "Professionalizing English Education " were conducted by the English Department of NSS Training College,Ottapalam. College principal, Dr. Lakshmi K.Nair inaugurated the Association which was followed by the lecture on Professionalizing English Education by Dr.K.M.Sherrif,Associate Professor,Department of English, University of Calicut. The Department head Mrs.K.Mridula presided over the function. There was interaction session at the end.

The college film club Focus has conducted screening of a movie on 10th sept 2015. Stanley ka Dabba was the movie.

Students enjoyed the movie. It was motivating for them to prepare for teaching practice

Scipalooza-a science show 

Physical science association of NSS training college ottapalam conducted 'Sa science show CIPALOOZA' on 11/9/2015 friday.Asst.Prof.Smitha.R of physical science department delivered the welcome speech.College principal in charge Dr.Ambili Aravind gave the presidential address.The chief guest Prakash Narayanan , secretary of Palakkad revenue district science club science club association inaugurated the session. 'SYMPHORIA',the magazine of physical science association was also released during the programme.He distributed the prizes of various quiz programmes conducted as a part of science show as well.Our teachers Dr.K.S.Sajan , Suresh kumar  and Abhiraj.K.M college union chairman delivered the felicitation.The inaugural session was concluded with the vote of thanks by Mini.K.M ,physical science association secretary.
