Today conducted a workshop for B Ed 4th semester students of N S S Training College Ottapalam, to summarize the activities done for their ICT experiences obtained through out their B Ed academic Period. Red ribbon club program

Red ribbon club members under the guidance of the teacher co- ordinator, Dr.Seema Menon K.P made a visit to Ayur Bathaniya hospital, Thrissur." Health and Healing unto the fullness of life " is their motto. They welcomed the group with a welcome drink. There were classes on the hospital facilities led by Mr. Manoj Francis, and a class on " well being with Ayurveda " by Dr. Amrutha and also on organic farming by Mr. Vincent. Students visited their organic farm, pharmacy and  various facilities. There were provision to buy their products and also for consultation with doctors. The group left  the college at 10 am and reached back at 4.30 pm. The trip was really  informative and students enjoyed the trip.

National pi day was observed on date at nss training collge auditorium

Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical constant π (pi). Pi Day is observed on March 14 (3/14 in the month/daydate format) since 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant digits of π.

Artists from kalamandalam performed  nanjyarkoothu in our college. Program was organised by college Red Ribbon club. Program was financially assisted by koodiyattam kkala kendra and Kerala Sangeeta nataka academy.  At the end of the programme, Artists were honoured with a momento.Red Ribbon Club co- ordinator Dr.Seema Menon K.P welcomed the gathering and student representative Smt. Revathy Vijayan rendered vote of thanks.

Nila beutification program

B.Ed students of our college joined hands with ottapalam municipality in the beautification and preservation of Nila on 7.3.2018. Teachers of the college, Dr.Seema Menon K.P, Dr.Devika.R, Dr.Binuraj.A, Mr. Akhil sreedhar.K and Dr. jayaprakash.R.K co- ordinated and led the activities.

Academic writing workshop

An academic writing workshop was conducted forMEd Students on 6th and 7 th of March 2018. Dr K S Sajan faculty of education co ordinated and acted as resource person for the workshop. Students created two academic papers in the workshop.

Eye testing camp

Eye camp in our college. Vision and power  of everyone was also tested. Students who need further check up were given special cards and those who need to wear spectacles were given needed details. The program was organised by medical inspection committee and red ribbon club in association with ottapalam eye care hospital

SPSS Workshop

Dr K S Sajan Faculty of education coordinated and acted as resource person for SPSS Workshop conducted for MEd Students. Students from IASE Thrissur also participated in the seminar.

Human Rights program

The Human Rights Forum of NSS Training College, Ottapalam conducted a seminar related to Human Rights on 15th February 2018. Advocate Ajith Sreedharan led the Seminar. Based on the topic ' Human Rights and it's various forms " , various issues related to human rights were discussed. After the Seminar there was an interactive session also. Students and faculty members actively participated in the Seminar and the following session. Human Rights Forum Co-ordinator Sri.K.Suresh Kumar welcomed the session and the members Dr.Sreekala and   Smt. Lekshmi had felicitations. Vote of thanks by Union member Majitha.
