MENTORING BY ALUMNI

 During their internship, our M.Ed. students had the opportunity to meet with one of our college alumni, Mini, who currently serves as an assistant professor at the college where our students conducted their internship. This encounter provided our students with valuable insights into the professional journey of a former student and allowed them to gain firsthand knowledge of the academic environment they were exploring during their internship.







ICT Training for Teachers

ICT Training on advanced tools in LMS was organised on 13/03/24. Program coordinator Dr Lekshmi V rendered the welcome address and Prof (Dr) Smitha R, Professor , NSS Training College, Ottapalam inaugurated the session and Dr K S Sajan, Assistant Professor, NSS Training College, Ottapalam acted as the resource person.

M ED THIRD SEMESTER RESULT ANALYSIS

 



Third Semester M.Ed examination for students of NSS Training College, Ottapalam:





 

 

The Third Semester M.Ed examination results for the students of NSS Training College, Ottapalam

 

  One student was absent during the MED09 TE Theory exam.

  Total number of students in the class: 28.

 

Observations:

  The highest number of distinctions was achieved in MED10 TE Practical, followed by the Optional Paper.

  MED09 TE Theory saw a notable distribution across different categories, with a significant number achieving both first and second class distinctions.

  None of the students failed in any of the exams, indicating a commendable performance overall.

  The class displayed a diverse range of performances across different subjects, showcasing a well rounded education curriculum.

 

This report provides insights into the performance of M.Ed students in the Third Semester examination at NSS Training College, Ottapalam, highlighting their achievements and areas for further improvement.

M ED FIRST SEMESTER THEORY EXAMINATION RESULT ANALYSIS

NUMBER OF STUDENTS IN EACH CATEGORY IS REPRESENTED AS PERCENTAGES


Overall Pass Percentage: With only 2 students failing out of 25, the overall pass percentage remains high at 92%.

 

Distinction: The data shows that there were students who achieved a distinction:

 

MED01: 8 students achieved distinction.

MED02: 7 students achieved distinction.

MED03: 8 students achieved distinction.

MED04: 7 students achieved distinction.

Classifications:

 

First Class: A total of 47.2% of students (16 out of 25) achieved first-class distinction.

Second Class: 36% of students (9 out of 25) secured a second-class distinction.

Individual Performance:

 

The distribution of classifications among the batches remains consistent with the previous interpretation.

Overall, the report still reflects a high pass rate among M.Ed students at NSS Training College, Ottpalam.. The number of students achieving first-class distinction remains significant, indicating a strong performance across the board.

Basim chaired the function and College Principal Prof. (Dr.)  Ampili Aravind inaugurated the function. IQAC Co-ordinator Dr. Sajan K.S, Staff Secretary Dr. Lekshmi V., Staff Advisor Dr. Sreevidya Nair N., Fine arts advisor Dr. Aswathy K.S., Office Head Sri. College Union &Arts Club Inauguration (07/03/2024)


College Union _ഏക്താര _ and Arts Club were inaugurated by the famous actor Sri.Unni Mukundan on 07/03/2024. The auspicious occasion got more brightened with the gracious presence of the charming actress Ms.Mahima Nambiar. Staff Advisor Dr .Sreevidya Nair N welcomed the gathering to the function which was presided over by Mr. Basim A, Union Chairman. The name of college union, ഏക്താര, was revealed by the chief guest before the formal inauguration. The college principal Pro.Dr.Ampili Aravind delivered the keynote address which was followed by the felicitation speeches of Dr.K.S.Sajan, Dr.Suresh Kumar K, Dr.Lekshmi V, Dr Anjana B Nair, Sri.Suresh Kumar K, Ms.Darsana KK and Ms. Sangeetha S. College union General Secretary Ms.Anjana KV proposed vote of thanks. The official meeting came to an end with National Anthem which was followed by various cultural activities of students. The official inauguration of college union,thus, became an unforgettable one!!!

Program on YIP

 A session on awareness and registration for YIP was conducted on 06-03-2024 at the college auditorium for B Ed., M Ed., and Ph.D. scholars. Mr.Abijith  C., YIP Coordinator, of Ottapalam Municipality, and  Mr. Pranav P., YIP Coordinator, of Pattambi Municipality were the resource persons for the session. A detailed introduction about YIP was given by Mr. Abijith C . 193 students participated in the program and registered in YIP. Ms Amaya from B Ed.welcomed the resource persons and the students and Mrs, Karthika from M Ed. delivered the vote of thanks

 Participated in All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) 2022-23 and successfully uploaded Web DCF of the institution in the AISHE portal.

97 students attended in the examination. Fasna K. T., Haritha K., and Greeshma M. of Natural Science Option secured the first, second, and third positions among college toppers with scores of 88.2, 88, and 87.2, respectively. Out of the total students, 75 (77%) achieved distinction (75% or higher). 


Despite all other students obtaining first-class scores, only 94 students successfully passed the examination. In the Mathematics option, one student failed in Paper 1, while two students in the Social Science Optional failed in Paper 2, with one of them also failing in Optional Paper 5. Additionally, one student in Natural Science did not participate in Optional Paper 5. A detailed result analysis, including graphical representation, is provided below.

RESULT ANALYSIS

Result analysis of the external theory  examination of natural science students for the paper 3 School organisation shows that 94 percentage of students got distinction and all other students got first class
