A
national webinar on ‘Academic support structures: exploring excellence through
experts’ was held on 5th February 2022 by NSS Training College, Ottappalam. Ms
Aneesha, first year MEd student did the comparing very well. The webinar
started with prayer by Ms.Sajini, first year MEd student. Dr.Lekshmi.V ,Webinar
co- ordinator offered the welcome address. College Principal Dr.Ampili aravind
presided over the function. The webinar was inaugurated by Dr. jayaprakash.R.K,
SCERT Director. Dr.K.S. Sajan, IQAC coordinator and Sri.Akhil.k.sreedhar, staff
secretary offered felicitations. Athira.T, MEd representative rendered vote of
thanks.
Dr.
jayaprakash R.K , Director, SCERT handled the first session , he detailed about
the origin, structure and functions of SCERT. Participants asked their doubts the
resource person clarified their doubts .
The
second session of the national webinar was handled by Dr Vijayan K, Assistant professor, NCERT. Shadiya A , MEd
first year student, welcomed the gathering.He explained in-depth from a first
hand experience of NCERT. The structure, functions and the recent initiatives of NCERT were discussed
in detail. The interactive session came to an end with vote of thanks by Ms Veena
P.S.
The
third session of the national webinar was handled by Smt. Kavitha. P. S,
Lecturer, DIET, Thrissur. Ms Mrudula. T, First year M Ed student offered
welcome address. The resource person explained origin, structure and funcions
of DIET with video presentations and discussions. M Ed first year student Ms. Anjali.
R. V rendered vote of thanks. Dr. Lekshmi V, coordinator of the national
webinar concluded the session with valedictory remarks.
