A weekly webinar series “Exploring ELT: From Presumption To Pragmatics” organized by English
Language Association in collaboration with IQAC and Alumni of N.S.S Training
College, Ottapalam, was inaugurated today.
The webinar was conducted over Google Meet with live YouTube streaming starting from 9 a.m. The program started with a prayer. Mrs. Alby Joseph, the Secretary of English
Language Association, welcomed the participants. The Principal of the college, Prof. Dr. Ampili Aravind, inaugurated
the webinar series. This was followed by the felicitation by Dr. Sajan K. S., Coordinator of IQAC of the college and Dr. Mridula
K., the Coordinator of English Language Association.
After the official inauguration session, the resource
person Ms. Meera K., English teacher, Higher
Secondary Education, elaborated on the topic, “Assimilating Learning
Theories: Learning as a Progression from Behaviourism to Constructivism”. All the eleven student teachers of English optional participated in the session. At the end, Ms. Devika K, the student teacher proposed the vote of thanks. The webinar was
successful with a lively interaction session by Ms. Meera K.
