Swachhata-Hi-Seva (SHS) 2024 Campaign

Campus Cleaning

Today, 27th September 2024, Friday as a part of *'Swachatha - Hi- Seva Campaign 2024' , a cleaning program was conducted in our college. The activity focused on cleaning NSS Training College campus surroundings from 2 p.m. onwards. First-year B.Ed. and Second Year M. Ed students actively volunteered and cleaned the area with proper guidance of in-charge teachers. Unwanted weeds and plants were removed. Geotaged photos were taken before and after the activity. All the teachers along with the principal and other staff, joined the cleaning process, and a refreshment drink was provided for all at the end of the activity. Today's program demonstrated the college's commitment in maintaining a healthy, safe, and sustainable environment for the students, faculty, and staff. The initiative also aimed to promote cleanliness and community engagement.

Plant 4 Mother Initiative

As a part of 'एक पेड़ मां के नाम/Plant4Mother' initiative launched by Hon'ble Prime Minister on World Environment day, June 5,2024, for planting trees as a tribute to mothers and to promote environmental conservation across the country, For this 1st year B.Ed and 2 nd year B.Ed Haritha Nature club volunteers of NSS Training College Ottapalam participated in the above activity by planting trees with their mother. Dr.Anu .S (Teacher Coordinator of Haritha Nature club) Coordinated this activity and volunteers took photographs and videographs of the activity then shared.It was such a Invigorating experience to volunteers.
