INDUCTION PROGRAM &BRIDGE COURSE

Our college welcomed the new batch (2023-2025)of BEd students with a well organised Induction Program followed by a meanigful and relevant Bridge Course which lasted for four days (from 8th to 11th August 2023). We had intended to make the students feel the depth of the BEd program with all its warmth and enthusiasm. All teachers of our college have taken remarkable efforts to kindle the light of joy and knowledge among the students through their fruitful interactive sessions on various topics. Dr.K.S Sajan, Coordinator,IQAC, has very well organised the program to have the outcome of igniting the minds of students with new knowledge and thoughts. We hope the students may cherish this venture throughout their career as it has been rightly said,...WELL BEGUN IS HALF DONE!!!!!

 

ശ്രാവണപ്പുലരി

മലയാളമാസാരംഭത്തിന്റെയും കർഷകദിനത്തിന്റെയും ഭാഗമായി ബി. എഡ്. ഒന്നാംവർഷ മലയാളം വിദ്യാർഥികൾ 17/08/2023 വ്യാഴാഴ്ച  സാംസ്കാരിക പരിപാടി സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് 2 മണിക്ക് പ്രാർഥനയോടു കൂടി ആരംഭിച്ച പരിപാടി നാടൻപാട്ട്, ചലച്ചിത്രഗാനം, നൃത്തം, മിമിക്രി, കവിതാപാരായണം തുടങ്ങിയ കുട്ടികളുടെ വിവിധ തരത്തിലുള്ള കലാപ്രകടനങ്ങളിലൂടെ പുരോഗമിച്ചു. കടങ്കഥ മത്സരം, മലയാളം ചലഞ്ച് തുടങ്ങിയ വിനോദ പരിപാടികളും സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു. 3.30യ്ക്ക് ദേശീയ ഗാനത്തോട് കൂടി പരിപാടി സമാപിച്ചു.

 A TALK ON WOMEN WRITERS IN INDIAN ENGLISH LITERATURE

The English Language Association on 17/08/2023 organized an enlightening talk on "Women Writers in Indian English Literature." The event commenced with the prayer, setting a reflective tone for the proceedings.Following the prayer, the Welcome Address was delivered, warmly greeting all attendees and highlighting the significance of the event. The Presidential Address was given by Ms.Aiswarya M, emphasizing the importance of recognizing women's contributions to literature and setting the stage for the discussions that followed.Dr. Mridula K, Associate Professor in the Department of English, then took the podium for the Inaugural Address. Her speech underscored the evolution and impact of women writers in Indian English literature, sparking interest and curiosity among the audience. Prof. (Dr) Ampili Aravind, the Principal, followed with an engaging address, providing further insight into the historical and cultural contexts of these writers.Ms.Jishitha introduced the Early Pioneers, shedding light on the foundational figures in Indian English literature. Ms.Meegha John continued with an introduction to Post-independence Writers, discussing how the socio-political changes influenced their works. Ms.Sanika Sanil then presented the Contemporary Writers, bringing attention to the current voices shaping the literary landscape.Ms. Sruthi A K discussed the Themes and Motifs prevalent in the writings of these women, exploring common threads and unique perspectives that define their work. Ms. K.N Anjana provided an Introduction to their Literary Contributions, detailing how these writers have enriched the literary canon. Ms. Amaya K concluded the thematic presentations by discussing Major Works and their Impact, offering an analysis of seminal texts and their influence on readers and society. The event concluded at 12:30 pm with a vote of thanks by Ms. Alona K V, expressing gratitude to all speakers, organizers, and attendees for their participation and support. This talk not only celebrated the literary achievements of women writers but also fostered a deeper appreciation for their contributions to Indian English literature

Independence Day celebration,2023

We celebrated the 77th Independence Day of our nation extensively.  The staff and students of NSS Training College, Ottapalam celebrated this occasion. The ceremony started at 9 am with an assembly. The Principal of the College Prof. (Dr.) Ampili Aravind hosted the national flag and delivered the Independence Day message. In connection to that, Dr. Lekshmi V. (Staff Secretary) expressed her felicitation to the entire program. After that, we conducted Patriotic songs and elocution competitions. There were also some programs like Group Dance, Tableau, skit, etc….  Sri. Subhash P.S. (Assistant Professor in Physical Education) delivered a Vote of thanks to the program. The program ends at 11.30 am with the national anthem.

Orientation regarding School Internship for BEd 2022-24j

The School Internship Coordinators Dr Anu S, and Dr Minikumari D gave detailed information regarding the  academic and coscholastic tasks to be completed during their period of internship as per the curriculum demands. The session starts from 10 am and extend upto 11.30 am . The duties, responsibilities and code of conduct are also revisited.

The event took place on 9th August 2023 in the college auditorium. The workshop aimed to equip educators with valuable insights into incorporating modern technological tools into their teaching practices.

The workshop featured distinguished resource persons, with Dr. K. S. Sajan being the primary speaker. Dr. Sajan's extensive knowledge and experience in the field of education and technology provided attendees with an in-depth understanding of the significance of integrating Linux-based systems in educational environments. His presentation emphasized the benefits of open-source solutions and their potential to enhance learning outcomes.

Prof. (Dr.) Ampili Aravind, the esteemed Principal of NSS Training College, graced the event with her presence and insightful words. Her encouragement and support underscored the college's commitment to fostering a culture of technological innovation and continuous learning.

Recognizing Excellence: Honoring NET Qualified Students

The M Ed association recognized NET achievers from batch 2022-24 on Aug 9, 2023. Dr. K S Sajan awarded mementos to honored students Mohsina, Reshma S, and Dhanya. The event promotes academic excellence and motivation among peers.

On August 8, 2023, an induction program was held for the newly enrolled B.Ed. students at NSS TRAINING COLLEGE OTTAPALAM. The purpose of this program was to welcome the students, introduce them to the institution's staff, and provide them with important information regarding their academic journey.

The induction program commenced at 10.00 in College Auditorium. The event was well-attended by the incoming B.Ed. students, faculty members, administrative staff, and Parents.

- **Introduction of Staff:** Principal  proceeded to introduce the esteemed members of the institution's faculty and administrative staff. This introduction aimed to familiarize the students with the individuals who would be guiding and supporting them throughout their academic journey.
