The teaching aids exhibition was conducted for the students of neighboring schools as a part of the post internship program by B.Ed. third semester students of the college. After the exhibition, the student teachers donated the learning materials to NSSKPT VHSS.

One day National seminar on Human Rights Protection Laws
One day National semi webinar on Human Rights Protection Laws was conducted by Human Rights Forum of NSS Training College Ottapalam on 07th October 2020 in collaboration with IQAC of the college. Rights to Information Federation State President and Famous Environmental Activist Adv. D B Binu presented the theme on Human Rights Protection Laws. The webinar was presided by the college principal Dr. Ampili Aravind and welcome speech was delivered by the coordinator of Human Rights Forum, Dr Suresh Kumar K. Adv.DB Binu presented the real state of human rights issues and focused on RTI Act and current issues. The lecture was very effective, informative and interesting. After the class, there was interaction with the students by the chief guest and paper presentation by the participants.
The falicitation were made by Dr. KS Sajan, IQAC Coordinator, Dr Minikumari.D, Staff secretary, Dr. Sethu S Nath, Staff Advisor and Smt. Lekshmi.V, Human Rights Forum Member. The Vote of Thanks by Ms. Alby Mathew , Student coordinator of Human rights Forum.
MATH LECTURE SERIES-DAY 2
Exploring math with e- learning
NSS Training college ottapalam, Mathematics club in association with IQAC organized the second day of math lecture series via Google meet on the topic “CREATING A CULTURE OF MATHEMATICS LEARNING” on 3rd December 2020.There were about 40 participants in the program including staff and students. Under the guidance of the Head of the Mathematics Department, Dr. Minikumari D , Smt. Malavika M of second year B.Ed. Mathematics coordinated the program. Smt.Roopa of second year Mathematics delivered the welcome speech. The presidential address was given by the principal Dr. Ampili Aravind ma’am. The session was then taken over by the resource person, Dr. Seema Gopinath, Assistant professor, Department of Education, central university of Rajasthan. The talk was mainly based on the importance of creating a culture of mathematics learning in classroom both by a teacher and a student. She also explained in detail the innovative approaches in making mathematics teaching and learning effective and interesting. As prospective teachers, the class was highly motivating and informative for us.At the end, Sreeshma.S of second year mathematics rendered the vote of thanks.
An e- certificate was provided to all the participants. On the whole, the program was a huge success.
