A talk on Gender, School and Society was organized by Women Cell 'Samanwaya' on 17- 03-2017 at the College auditorium. The chief guest of the day MX. Vijayarajamallika discussed the gender issues existing in today's society and the need to give space for all including the third gender. She addressed teachers as 'social engineers' and emphasized the role of teachers in sensitizing the younger generation about the concept of gender equality.
