University B Ed valuation camp begins in our college on 20-03-2017. Teacher educators of diffferent colleges attended this camp. 

College Sports Day

The Annual Sports Meet was held on 17th March 2017. The whole students were divided into 4 groups namely-red,yellow,green and blue. The meet started off by the march past of the students.An official meeting was also there, where NiKhitha(General Captain), Principal Dr Lakshmi K Nair ,Physical Education Instructor Dr Bini,
Sajeesh T K(Chairman), Amitha(General Secretary),Suresh Kumar(Ass.Prof)  spoke to students. Various items including Athletics and Sports were held. Items included Race, Javelin Throw, Shotput,Disc throw, Chess,Carroms,Ball Badminton,Relay . The students actively participated in the programme. Medals were distributed to the winners.

Talk on Gender School and Society

A talk on Gender, School and Society was organized  by Women Cell 'Samanwaya' on 17- 03-2017 at the College auditorium. The chief guest of the day MX. Vijayarajamallika discussed the gender issues existing in today's society and the need to give space for all including the third gender. She addressed teachers as 'social engineers' and emphasized the role of teachers in sensitizing the younger generation about the concept of gender equality.

IQAC Workshop on E Content Development

A one day workshop on e-content development was organized under the banner of IQAC on 15-3-2017.Our principal Dr.Lekshmi k nair innagurated the programme .Teachers,students and research scholars from various institutions of all over kerala participated in the programme.The resource person of the programme,Dr.KS Sajan Assistant Professor NSS Training College Ottapalam introduced various platforms of e-content development and provided hands own experience on the same for all participants.

Science Day 2017

National science day 2017

National science day is celebrated in our college. The programme was named Esperando, which means hoping. The function was inaugurated by Mr. Sreekanth, physics department HOD of NSS arts and science college palappuram. The science association of our college was also inaugurated at this moment. The function was presided by Mrs. Ampili Aravind(HOD, M. Ed) . Dr. K. P. Anilkumar(assistant professor) , Dr. Sheeba(assistant professor ) , Mrs. Ramya(assistant professor ) , Mr. T. K. Sajeesh (college union chairman ) were delivered the felicitation. The manuscript magazine by physical science department 'meliora' was published at this occasion. Majida delivered the vote of thanks . The celebration was followed by several programmes such as science show, short film, role play, food fusion, quiz programme and science exhibition.
