Winners of Gandhian inter collegiate quizz competition

Chair for Gandhinan Studies and Research (CGSR), University  of Calicut, conducted an Intercollegiate Gandhi Quiz competition on 22nd October  2016 at Calicut University campus.Students of English option, Chaitra Sukumaran and Smrithi K has been adjudged top ten in the competition.

Elocution competition

Physical science association conducted an  elocution competition which  was held at NSS training college,Ottapalam on 30 th  September 2016.The topic was 'Science and Globalisation'.The competition was guided by Dr Sheeba Krishnan and chaired by moderator Deepthi T B.The participants were Akshara K,Balkees K,Savitha T and Anupriya Rose .

Akshara and Balkees shared the first price,the second price goes to Savitha and third price for Anupriya.

Field visit of MEd students to DIET

Field visit to DIET,BRC and TTI

Senior M.Ed batch carried out field visits to TTI, BRC and DIET. They visited LSN TTI on 03/10/2016 and interviewed principal and other teaching staffs. It was to understand the working and procedures of the institution.

The visit to BRC situated in Ottapalam was on 04/10/2016. Students were divided into different groups and had an interaction session with BPO and other staffs. They visited DIET, Palakkad on the subsequent day (05/10/2016) where students got an opportunity to converse with principal and other teachers. All these three visit provided an insight on them about the working of these institutions.

Gandhi Jayanthi quizz competition

Physical science association conducted a quiz competition on 7 the october 2016.The competition was held on behalf of ,Gandhi Jayanti ,celebration .The theme for the competition was Gandhi - life -philosophy - contributions. The programme started at 1 pm at college auditorium.The co.ordinator was Nikitha and principal Dr Lakshmi presided over the function.

There were 7 teams of 2 members each.The quizSession consisted four rounds namely face to face,cue,vision ,and rapid fire rounds respectively.

The winners of the competion  were Chithra and Smrithi from English optional got first position

The second position goes to Neethusha and Roopini from from Natural Science.The third place goes to Yadhu and Reshma Raveendran from Social Science.

B Ed Last chance to Appear Examination

Gandhi Jayanthi celebration

Gandhi Jayanthi was celebrated on October 2 in our college with a variety of programmes. It was begun with the college prayer and it was followed by Gandhi bhajans. Subsequently community prayer was conducted. Our Principal Dr Lakshmi K Nair delivered 'Gandhi jayanthi' message. After that all the students and teachers involved in the cleaning of  college campus and premises. Food was served and the session was concluded after it.
