The YIP orientation and registration session was organized at the college on 24th October, 2025. The resource person, Sri. Sai Prasanth, Programme Coordinator, K DISC, addressed the students. The importance of YIP, its role in supporting innovation, and its immense possibilities were detailed by him. Students registered in YIP 8.0 and actively participated in the programme. YIP coordinator Dr. Mridula K. welcomed the resource person. YIP faculty team of the college, Dr.Lakshmi V., Dr. Anjana B Nair, Dr Seema C., and Dr. Ravishankar M P. extended their support to the session. Student representative Athira delivered the vote of thanks.

Field Visit to Attappadi . A field visit was conducted by the college to Attappadi as part of BEd curriculum ( Task -EDU 01- Education in Contemporary India).The purpose of the visit was to understand the social and cultural diversities and prepare report. The group visited Govt. Tribal Vocational Higher Secondary School, Pudur and they had a fruitful interaction with the students over there. Cultural exchange program was also arranged.The team consisted of 97 students and 4 teachers. The teachers accompanied were Dr.Sunil Kumar A S, Dr. Sheeba Krishnan, Dr. Aswathy K S & Dr. Sreevidya Nair N. It was a memorable experience to all!!

Eye Testing Camp
An Eye Testing Camp was organized at NSS Training College, Ottapalam on 7th October 2025. The program was conducted by the Medical Inspection Committee in collaboration with NSS Unit No. 301, in association with Ottapalam Eye Care Hospital. The event aimed to promote eye health awareness and provide free eye check-ups for students, teachers, and non-teaching staff.
