YIP Orientation and Registration

 The YIP orientation and registration session was organized at the college on 24th October, 2025. The resource person, Sri. Sai Prasanth, Programme Coordinator, K DISC, addressed the students. The importance of YIP, its role in supporting innovation, and its immense possibilities were detailed by him. Students registered in YIP 8.0 and actively participated in the programme. YIP coordinator Dr. Mridula K. welcomed the resource person. YIP faculty team of the college, Dr.Lakshmi V., Dr. Anjana B Nair, Dr Seema C., and Dr. Ravishankar M P. extended their support to the session. Student representative Athira delivered the vote of thanks.

Young Innovators programme-YIP Orientation ,Registration and Idea generation

 Sri. Sai Prasanth Programme Executive, K-Disc addressed the students today at the General Hall. He talked about the initiatives to nurture young talents and innovations and how YIP addresses it. Various stages of idea generation and submission was detailed by him. All the students participated in the program and as the first step everyone registered in YIP. The coordinators of the session; Dr. Mridula K, Dr. Lekshmi V, Dr. Anjana B Nair, Smt.Seema C, and Dr. Ravishankar M P helped in the student registration process. The program concluded at 12.00 noon.

Vallathol Anusmaranam

 Bhashavedi of the College organised Vallathol Anusmaranam to honour the legacy of renowned Malayalam poet Shri. Vallathol Narayana Menon on 16 th October 2025. The program featured poem recital, speeches on the iconic works of poet and his contributions in reviving Kathakali. Literature Quiz and Malayalam versification competitions were organised by the club. Bhashavedi coordinators spearheaded the program.

Eye Testing Camp



An Eye Testing Camp was organized at NSS Training College, Ottapalam on 7th October 2025. The program was conducted by the Medical Inspection Committee in collaboration with NSS Unit No. 301, in association with Ottapalam Eye Care Hospital. The event aimed to promote eye health awareness and provide free eye check-ups for students, teachers, and non-teaching staff.
