Distribution of Umbrellas made by palliative care patients - A venture by Palliative club

College palliative club distributed the umbrellas made by palliative care patients. The venture was inaugurated by college principal, Dr. Ampili Aravind , by buying two umbrellas. Teachers, Non teaching staff & students bought umbrellas. There were black, coloured & printed umbrellas for the sale. Palliative club could thus help the paraplegic patients to make money on their own with pride by selling their handmade umbrellas. 

Music Club Program -- TONES OF TUNES

 The Music Club organized a marvelous program TONS OF TUNES on 28/6/2024 . The event aimed to provide  an enriching musical experience through a series of performances.Our Principal Prof (Dr.) Ampili Aravind inaugurated the function.The program was enriched by Solo,Duet performances  anthakshari and onnay paadam sessions.Music Club co- ordinator Smt. Seema C extended vote of thanks .

Awareness classes by Women Development Cell with Red ribbon club

WDC in collaboration with Red ribbon club conducted awareness classes on nutrition, AIDS , Counseling and TB on 20/6/2024. Asna sherin, Reshma. S, Balasubrahmaniam. G and Satish K from Thaluk hospitals  at Ottapalam &  Palakkad led the classes. Dr. Seema Menon K P welcomed the gathering.  All students of the college attended the sessions. Greeshma rendered vote of thanks 

World Reading Day

 On World Reading Day the English Language Association of NSS Training College Ottapalam organized Association Day on 19/06/2024 .  The birthday of Salman Rushdie was also celebrated on the same day.

The event's highlight was the release of the manuscript magazine, Elysium a culmination of the literary and creative effort of 2^nd year B.Ed. English optional students. The event began with the prayer.  Ms. Jinsy Das delivered the welcome address, followed by the presidential address by Associate Professor Dr Mridula K. The event's chief guest was Principal Prof.( Dr) Ampili Aravind; she delivered the inaugural address and graced the occasion. She emphasized that reading is important for personal and academic growth. Manuscript magazine ‘Elysium’ was released by the Principal. Ms. Archana, magazine editor deliberated on  the title of the magazine. Ms.Sreya delivered a speech about  Salman Rushdie, and Ms. Jasmine elucidated the great author's works. Ms. Aswathy recited a poem and  Ms. Aiswarya  sang a melody. The event concluded  with a vote of thanks by Ms. Megha.

FREE UNIFORM DISTRIBUTION

The Staff Council of NSS Training College, Ottapalam, in collaboration with NSS Unit No. 301, organized a program to distribute free uniforms to students of NSS KPT school. The event began at 10 AM in the college auditorium with a prayer.

Professor Dr. Sunil Kumar A.S., the NSS program officer, delivered the welcome speech. He greeted the attendees, including the college principal, the Ottapalam municipal chairperson, faculty members, and students. He also provided an introduction to the program.

The presidential address was given by Professor Dr. Ampili Aravind, the principal of the college. She shared an encouraging message with the students and praised the efforts of the NSS unit.

The ceremony was inaugurated by Smt. Janaki Devi, the Ottapalam municipal chairperson. She officially opened the event and spoke positively about the program.

Felicitations were offered by Smt. Radhika Balachandran, headmistress of NSS KPT, and Smt. Chandni, senior assistant of NSS KPT school. They highlighted the collective effort made to support the students. Additional speeches were given by Dr. Lakshmi V, staff secretary; Dr. Srividya Nair, staff advisor; Dr. K S Sajan, IQAC coordinator; Dr. Suresh Kumar K, PTA secretary; and Sri Suresh Kumar K, office head. Each speaker congratulated the team for their hard work and dedication.

Following the speeches, the uniforms were distributed to the students by the principal and other faculties. The program concluded with a vote of thanks from Vishnu KV, the NSS student coordinator.

The event was a success, demonstrating the commitment of NSS Training College and its partners to support students in need.

ഒറ്റപ്പാലം NSS ട്രെയിനിംഗ് കോളേജിൽ 19/06/2004 ബുധനാഴ്ച്ച രാവിലെ 10 മണിക്ക് NSS KPT വൊക്കേഷണൽ ഹയർ സെക്കൻററി സ്കൂ‌ളിലെ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് സൗജന്യ യൂണിഫോം വിതരണം “ പഠിക്കാനൊരു ഉടുപ്പ്" എന്ന പേരിൽ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. കോളേജിലെ NSS യൂണിറ്റും സ്റ്റാഫ് കൗൺസിലും സംയുക്തമായാണ് പരിപാടി സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചത്. യോഗത്തിന് NSS യൂണിറ്റ് സ്റ്റാഫ് കോർഡിനേറ്റർ Dr സുനിൽ കുമാർ സർ സ്വാഗതം ആശംസിച്ചു. കോളേജ് പ്രിൻസിപ്പാൾ Prof. Dr. അമ്പിളി അരവിന്ദ് ടീച്ചർ അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു. പരിപാടി ഒറ്റപ്പാലം നഗരസഭാ ചെയർപേഴ്സൺ ജാനകിദേവി അവർകൾ ഉദ്ഘാടനം നിർവ്വഹിച്ചു.

യോഗത്തിന് NSS KPT സ്കൂൾ പ്രധാനാധ്യാപിക ശ്രീമതി രാധിക ടീച്ചർ, സീനിയർ അസിസ്റ്റൻ്റ് ശാന്തിനി ടീച്ചർ, കോളേജിലെ അധ്യാപകരായ ലക്ഷ്‌മി ടീച്ചർ, ശ്രീവിദ്യ ടീച്ചർ, സുരേഷ് സർ, സാജൻ സർ, ഓഫീസ് ഹെഡ് സുരേഷ് സർ എന്നിവർ ആശംസ അറിയിച്ചു. ശേഷം 87 വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് യൂണിഫോം വിതരണം ചെയ്‌തു. NSS സ്റ്റുഡൻ്റ് കോർഡിനേറ്ററായ വിഷ്‌ണു K.V നന്ദി പറഞ്ഞു . ദേശീയഗാനത്തോടെ പരിപാടി സമാപിച്ചു.

ONE DAY WORKSHOP ON FET TIME TABLE

NSS Training College Ottapalam IQAC and IT Club jointly organized an FDP on timetable software, FET, a free and open-source software. Shri Jagir K. was the resource person for the session. He demonstrated different aspects of the timetable software. More than 1,200 participants watched the live program, but only 900 participants registered for the program, and only 500 participants submitted the feedback form and collected their certificates. Dr. Ampili Arvind , the principal, presided over the function, and Dr. K. S. Sajan IQAC and IT club coordinator welcomed the gathering. Dr. Lakshmi V. Staff   secretary, proposed the vote of thanks.
