DWMS Registration campaign

On 28th February 2024, NSS Training College, Ottapalam organized a DWMS registration campaign for students. It is part of the Nava Kerala Mission initiated by the Kerala Government. The event took place in the General Hall. Two team members guided students through the registration process using a specific app designed to help them secure jobs.  Students were given awareness about the program and were encouraged and guided to participate and register. The details of the students were recorded, and felicitation was given by the student coordinator.

B Ed theory Exam Valuation Camp Meeting

A meeting was conducted for the examiners of B.Ed theory paper valuation under the chairmanship of Dr. Ampli Aravind, the camp chairman. Some teachers spoke about the positive atmosphere of the camp. Dr. K S. Sajan welcomed the gathering. After the meeting, a photo session was arranged.

Invited Lecture by Prof (Dr). K. P. Meera on Revitalizing quality initiatives within higher education institutions on 16/2/2024

An invited lecture on revitalising quality initiatives for higher education institutions was given by Prof ( Dr) K P  Meera, Retd Professor, Department of Education, University of Calicut.

There were separate sessions & orientation classes for Students, teachers & non teaching staff. Sessions were highly informative.

Appreciate the NET holders

A function to appreciate the  NET holders  of M.Ed second year, Sanila P V, Poornima Harikurup and Ahalya M were arranged in the M.Ed second year classroom on 15/02/2024.As a token of love and appreciation mementos were presented to them by the class tutor Dr. K S Sajan who has always been a pillar of support to all the students.The winners shared their experience of preparation and techniques cracking the exam. Dr.K S Sajan congratulated the winners and motivated other students to achieve the same .

One Day Medical Inspection Camp

 

NSS Training College, Ottapalam conducted a One Day Medical Inspection Camp in association with National Service Scheme and Medical Inspection Committee. College principal Prof.(Dr.)Ampili Aravind inaugurated the function. Dr. Rajan T (Naturopathy and Yoga)  delivered the invited lecture on the topic "How to live without medicine" and NSS volunteer secretary Vishnu K V gave vote of thanks. As part of this medical Inspection Camp a Free Whole Body Checkup was also conducted in the College Seminar Hall.

As per the BEd curriculum, the Initiatory School Experience is scheduled to be convened from 6/2/2024 to 12/02/2024 . The general orientation was given by the Principal, Prof (Dr) Ampili Aravind ma'am. The details of work was explained by Academic Monitoring Cell coordinator Dr. Minikumari. The. List of schools selected for this purpose was also finalized.
