Noel Souvenirs conducted by English Language Association

  

The English Language Association of NSS Training College, Ottapalam conducted the Noel Souvenirs from 22/12/21 to 24/12/21. The competition was conducted through online mode. Students were asked to write about their memories of Christmas. Student teachers from both B. Ed and M.Ed courses participated in the competition.  From the entries received Aiswarya M.V, 1'st year Natural Science, Krishna A.V, 1'st year Natural Science, and Ninu C. Sison, 1'st year English, bagged first second and third prizes.

Mathematics Day INFINITY

Mathematics Association, NSS Training College Ottapalam,  in collaboration with IQAC has organised  a program in accordance with the celebration of National Mathematics Day on 22nd December 2021.  National Mathematics Day is celebrated on the birth anniversary of Srinivasa Ramanujan to commommerate the contributions given by him in the field of Mathematics.  The program began at 10.00 am. The event started with a prayer and Acharyanusmaranam.  

The welcome speech was given by Aparna K. Then the Presidential Address was given by Dr. Ambili Aravind, Principal, NSS Training College Ottapalam. After that  Dr. Minikumari D, HOD of Mathematics Education delivered the felicitation speech. It was followed by felicitation speeches given by Dr KS Sajan, IQAC Coordinator and Dr. Lekshmi V, Staff advisor, Staff Secretary Sri. Akhil K Sreedhar and Head Accountant Sri Suresh Kumar K. Then the importance of the day was explained by Binisha V. After that a live demonstration of the life of Srinivasa Ramanujan was played by First year BEd. Mathematics Students. The vote of thanks was given by Haritha PK. The program concluded with National anthem at 11.00 am.

Christmas Celebration 2021

College union and arts club of NSS Training College Ottapalam conducted Christmas celebration on 23/12/2021 . Smt. Janani,  college union vice chairperson welcomed the gathering. College union chairman Sri  Ananthakrishnan presided the function. College Principal Dr Ampili Aravind Inaugurated the function. Sri. Akhil K Sreedhar, staff secretary, Dr. Lekshmi V, union advisor, Dr. Mridula K, fine arts advisor and Sri. Suresh Kumar K, Head Accountant offered felicitations for the function. Smt. Anagha, Arts club secretary rendered vote of thanks. The official program was followed by cultural programs by students. Crib making competition and letter to Santa competition were conducted. 

NCTE-PAR PREPARATION WEBINAR

NSS TRAINING COLLEGE OTTAPALAM AND VIDYABHYASA VIKASA KENDRAM jointly  organised a webinar for Principals of teacher education institutions FOR NCTE- PAR preparation and uploading.  Dr. K .K Shine, honourable chairman of NCTE- SRC inaugurated the webinar. Dr Ampili Aravind principal and Dr. K S Sajan assistant professor of NSS Training College Ottapalam and Dr P. S. Bisni Assistant professor of SNM Training College moothakunnam where the key resource persons.

Energy Club Inauguration & National Energy conservation day observance

Energy Club inauguration & National Energy conservation day observance was conducted on December 14, 2021.The program started with the blessings of almighty and a welcome speech by Anjali from M Ed. Energy club coordinator Vinjush C P presided the function. Respected Principal  Prof. Dr.Ampili Aravind inaugurated the event. Dr Seema Menon K P, Associate Professor of the college delivered the keynote address. A discussion was conducted on "Energy Efficient Life". It has been decided to conduct various competitions like Essay writing,Slogan writing, Energy Quiz and Poster making throughout the week. Finally Athira  expressed her sincere gratitude towards everyone for attending the program.

NSS Training college Ottapalam organized a workshop   for B Ed  M Ed Students,  Research Scholars and   Teacher Educators for the effective use of Inflibnet -   The digital Library. The aim of the workshop was to   increase the use of Inflibnet by college students and   teachers.

World AIDS Day Observance 2021

College union in association with Red-ribbon Club of NSS Training College conducted World AIDS Day Observance on 01/12/2021 . Programs was officially inaugurated by college principal Prof( Dr. ) Ampili Aravind, through the distribution of Red-ribbon badge to student representatives. Video presentation, essay competition, poster making competition, slogan writing competition, plucard making competition and photography competition were held for students. All actively participated in programs.

Literature Quiz Conducted by English Language Association

 In connection with the Novel writing month celebration, the English Language Association of NSS Training College, Ottapalam conducted the Literature Quiz Competition on 23rd  November  2021. The competition was conducted through Survey hearts. The quiz link was shared in official WhatsApp groups. 43 student teachers from  B.Ed and M.Ed courses participated in the competition. Winners are Sumayya P K, 2nd Year, Physical Science, Arya K K, 1st Year, Mathematics, Nimitha K C, 2nd year, Physical Science.
