M Ed Admission

Students are requested to bring all necessary certificates like

SSLC or Equivalent Certificate (to verify Name, Age, etc.)
b)  B.Ed mark list and B. Ed (Original/Provisional) Degree Certificate
     (to Prove Qualification)
Community Certificate (for SC/ST)
c) Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (for ETB, Muslim, OBH, OBX,   LC/SIUC)
Service Certificate in original (countersigned by competent authority)
BPL Certificate (for forward caste).
TC and Conduct Certificate.
Certificate to prove the disability.
Equivalency Certificate and proof for regular study of B. Ed course (B. Ed from out side Kerala).
The candidates who are in Govt./Aided service shall submit the NOC from the department concerned.

One Day Workshop on “Acquainting with the New Textbook and Methods for 8th Standard of Kerala Schools”


A one day workshop on “Acquainting with the New Textbook and Methods for 8th Standard of Kerala Schools” has organized by Department of Social Science Education, NSS Training College at college seminar hall on 19-11-2014, Wednesday from 19am to 4pm. The work shop was not expansive but simply organized. The program was enriched by 21 Social Science Education Optional teachers of different colleges from Malappuram, Thrissur and Palakkad districts. More than 6 teacher educators of the hosting college also participated the workshop.
The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Kumari S Girija, Principal, NSSTC Ottapalam, with a brief talk lighted the need of the workshop. The session was followed with an audio conference with Dr. P Bashher, senior lecture DIET Palakkad and SCERT curriculum committee member. He has briefed his ideas to the necessity of social awarenss of social science teachers.
The second session was introduced by Smt. Anitha, Ast Professor, Holy Family CE Koduvayur and was led by Dr. K S Sajan, Ast. Professor, NSSTC and Member, Curriculum committee, SCERT. He has explained all the aspects of new methods and possible reforms of textbook. After this informative session, delegates were organized in three groups and group discussion was conducted to frame outline for the LESSON PLAN for the new approach. The product was submitted to organizers by each group for its makeover.
The workshop was culminated with concluding talk and feed back of Sri Abdul Samad, Ast Professor, Farook Training College, Kottakkal and by Sri. Harris, Ast. Professor, EMEA Training College, Kondotty.
The program came to an end with the vote of thanks by Sri Sankaranrayanan Paleeri, HOD, Dept of Social science, NSS training College Ottapalam. National anthem was the beat of the last moment.
